John Frausto - Director of Tennis
John Frausto is a Partner and Director of Tennis at Center Court Tennis Club, a USPTA P1 Professional and MTM Master Professional. He currently serves as the USPTA Wisconsin President. John received the prestigious Wisconsin USPTA Teaching Professional of the Year in 2006. He is the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at Marian University in Fond du Lac and was awarded by his peers the 2007 Northern Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. In his first four years, he led the Sabre Tennis Team to four consecutive winning seasons, a first in school history.
John has presented at the Wisconsin and Ohio High School Tennis Association conventions and produced an instructional DVD, “53 Drills for Better Tennis” with friend and mentor Oscar Wegner. John has over 20+ years experience in the tennis industry and has worked with several sectional and nationally ranked juniors.

Leigh Cherveny - Staff Professional
Leigh, a USPTA certified P2 Teaching Professional, joined Center Court Tennis Club in December 2007, where he is teaching private and small group lessons and directs the Sunday Serve It Program. Leigh has been teaching and coaching tennis since 1985. Leigh retired as Vice President of Human Resources following 34 years of service in the engineering consulting business.
Presently Leigh is the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at Lakeland College and Sheboygan Fall’s Boys Varsity Tennis Coach. He has led the High School Boy’s team to seven conference championships and to the WIAA State Tournament three times. The boys have a 218-78 record. Leigh also is the Community Tennis Coordinator in Sheboygan Falls , and the owner of Classical Strings, a racquet stringing and repair business. He is an active tennis player, and has been ranked as high as second in Wisconsin Men’s singles, ages 55-60. Leigh received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Bob Berger
Bob began teaching tennis in 1978 in Michigan in the Detroit area. He taught adult and junior players of all age's and abilities. He coached junior traveling teams as well as several adult USTA teams. Bob became a USPTA member in 1987 and obtained USPTA P1 Professional in 1991. He was the Head Tennis Professional at the Fond du Lac YMCA for 17 years.
Bob has personally developed and coached several state ranked players in the Green Bay and Fond du Lac areas. Bob assists with Center Court’s Saturday Junior Program. |

Dick Kotnick
Dick is currently the Men’s and Women’s Assistant Coach at Marian University. Kotnick is also employed at Center Court Indoor Tennis Club as the Pro Shop Manager. He is in charge of conducting and assisting with on-court drills, Cardio Tennis and the Saturday Junior Program.
Kotnick has been an active player for over 35 years, participating in various USTA Leagues and scheduled events. |

Katie Derksen
Katie has worked for Center Court since November 2009 and has been an avid tennis player all her life. Katie attended Division 1 Sheboygan North High School where she started out as a No. 1 Junior Varsity singles player her freshman year. Katie advanced to No. 1 Varsity singles her sophomore, junior and senior years and was voted Most Valuable Player two consecutive years. She was voted team captain her senior year.
Katie continued her love for the sport after high school and taught summer tennis programs for two years at the Sports Core, located in Kohler, Wis. Currently she assists with the QuickStart Tennis, adult flex leagues and the Saturday Junior Program. |
