John Frausto - Director of Tennis
John Frausto is the Director of Tennis at Center
Court Tennis Club. He received his Bachelor’s of Science
degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of
Wisconsin, Platteville, where he participated on the men’s
tennis team. John did his elementary teaching practicum in Fond du Lac
at Water’s Elementary School and completed his secondary
teaching practicum at Pine River High School in Brisbane, Australia.
In January 2008, John will begin as President of
the USPTA of Wisconsin. He was selected as the USPTA Tennis Teaching
Professional of the Year in February 2007. The USPTA is the largest
professional tennis teaching organization in the world with over 11,500
members.
John is the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at
Marian College in Fond du Lac. In October 2007, he was voted on by his
peers as the Northern Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. In just 2
years, John has led the Sabre Women’s Tennis Team to
consecutive winning seasons, the first time in school history.
John has been married to his wife Julie for 8
years and they have two children, Morgen and Gianni.

Jason Frausto - Director of Junior Tennis
Jason Frausto is the Director of Junior Tennis at
Center Court Tennis Club. He previously spent three years at Fox Cities
Racquet Club in Appleton, Wisconsin where he ran many of the junior
group programs. Jason has coached more than ten different nationally
ranked junior tennis players.
Jason specializes in stroke mechanics and high performance tennis
instruction through the use of visual imagery. He continues to be an
active tennis player participating in ATP Futures events in the summer.
He was ranked as high as #42 in the Midwest in Men’s Open
singles in 2006.

Leigh Cherveny - Staff Professional
Leigh Cherveny, a USPTA
certified Teaching Professional, joined Center Court Tennis Club in
December
2007, where he is teaching private and small group lessons on a
part-time
basis. Leigh has been teaching and coaching tennis since
1985.
Leigh retired as Vice President of Human Resources following 34 years
of
service in the engineering
consulting business.
Presently Leigh is the
Head Women’s Tennis Coach at Lakeland College
and Sheboygan
Fall’s Boys Varsity Tennis Coach. He has led the
High School Boy’s team
to seven conference championships and to the WIAA State Tournament
three
times. The boys have a 218-78 record. Leigh also is
the Community
Tennis Coordinator in Sheboygan Falls ,
and the owner of
Classical Strings, a racquet stringing and repair business.
He is an
active tennis player, and has been ranked as high as second in
Wisconsin Men’s
singles, ages 55-60. Leigh received his Bachelors of Arts
degree from the
University
of Wisconsin,
Milwaukee.

Rich Petak - Staff Professional
Rich Petak is a Fond
du Lac
native. He is currently the assistant teaching professional for junior
lessons, drills, and Cardio Tennis on weekends at Center
Court
. Rich lettered four years in tennis at UW Oshkosh. In 2007, he served as
a volunteer coach to Margaret Hayes and the Fond
du Lac
Boy’s High School Tennis Team. That summer, he organized the Summer
Recreational Youth League for JV and Varsity players in Fond du Lac County. He is an avid
tennis player, himself, and participates in league-play year round. Rich
obtained his professional tennis instructor certification with the United
States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) in 2007. Rich
received his Bachelors of Science degree from UW Oshkosh and he is employed
full time at J.F. Ahern Company in the Pipe Fabrication Division.
